Executive Summary
Throughout my college career, I have gained more knowledge than I ever thought possible. When I graduated high school I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with my life. I knew I needed to go to college, but I had no idea what to major in. One year after high school, I enrolled at Essex community College. In a few years I received my A.A. in General Studies, and from there I transferred to Towson University. At Towson, I decided to major in Business Management. I felt like the Management field would give me the opportunity to learn about a multitude of subjects. During my two years at Towson University I have gained knowledge in fields of Management, Finance, E-business, Statistics, etc.
During my years in college I have held two different jobs, and an internship. Both of my jobs were in the residential construction industry, where I learned a lot about construction, along with a great work ethic, and team work skills. In between semesters, I would work full time, and while in school, I worked part time along with taking four to five classes. My internship is with a staffing company, where I have learned to use new technologies, and enhance my written communication skills.
On the following pages of my portfolio, I will explain my skills and abilities, along with giving examples of past work. I will highlight my strengths and weaknesses, and define some of my life goals. Enclosed you will also find my resume.
